FFWPU Rally for the Hopeful March Forward for the Providence in Latin America

(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Jong-hun Kang = On August 5, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (hereinafter referred to as FFWPU) revealed that they held the Rally for the Hopeful March Forward for the Providence in Latin America at the Allianz Parque Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil on August 4 (local time).

FFWPU announced that a total of nearly 30,000 people, including nine former Presidents, from more than 40 nations including Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile and Peru, participated in this event.

Simultaneously, the “Latin America Summit 2018” was held in Sao Paulo from August 2-5 by FFWPU’s international civil organization, the Universal Peace Federation.

More than 400 participants, including current and former Prime Ministers and Director-generals from Latin American nations, took part in this event held under the theme of peace and development in Latin America.

Launching rallies of Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IADP) and Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) in Latin America were also held during this period..... [See the original story]
