The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) revealed that they held a mass wedding of 4,000 couples at the Cheongshim Peace World Center in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do this morning (August 27).

This mass wedding, originally established by Rev. Sun Myung Moon, founder of FFWPU, otherwise known as the Unification Church, started off in 1961 from 36 couples.
